Creative insomnia have now been awarded an official ICO registered certification.

All public and private organisations are legally obliged to protect any personal information they hold, and may be required to notify with the ICO. Public authorities are also obliged to provide public access to official information. The ICO helps to understand these obligations and keep you updated as and when they change.

Anyone who processes personal information must comply with the eight principles

Information must be:

• Fairly and lawfully processed
• Processed for specified purposes
• Adequate, relevant and not excessive
• Accurate and up-to-date
• Not kept for longer than is necessary
• Processed in line with individuals’ rights
• Secure
• Not transferred outside the European Economic Area without
adequate protection

The ICO certification also insures that;

• promoting good practice in handling personal data, and
giving advice and guidance on data protection;
• keeping a register of organisations that are required to notify
him about their information-processing activities; and
• helping to resolve disputes by deciding whether it is likely or
unlikely that an organisation had complied with the Act when 
processing personal data.

South West Wales Local Authorities join the South East and sign up with Creative Insomnia.
North Wales Local Authorities, which include Isle of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy and Denbighshire have chosen Creative Insomnia to provide them with a CRM & Reports platform to support their Local Investment Fund 'LIF'.

After a successful intergration of our CRM & Reports platform within the South East Wales LA's, which include Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merythr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Torfaen, South West Wales was given the green light to approach Creative Insomnia with their plans to use the software to manage their Local Investment Fund (LIF) Projects.

LIF is a package of flexible financial support to assist new and existing businesses by offering capital grants of 40% of eligible projects, subject to a minimum of £1000 and a maximum of £5000 grant. The scheme is targeted at small and medium sized enterprises (employing less than 250 people) with either a turnover not exceeding €50 million or a balance sheet not exceeding €43 million.

The contract is to run over a 5 year period in which Creative Insomnia will provide full technical support and aid with any further development of the platform.

Legendary London Welsh RFC Launch their new website.

We were very pleased to be awarded the web design and development contract for the new London Welsh FC website. Our key objective for this project was to ensure we delivered a modern well presented information and members site that would compliment the clubs rise back to flight rugby.

The site provides a platform for more membership sign-ups and to encourage members of the public to support the team. The site also provides a solid platform for loads of content from news through to events, match reports and events galleries. We have also provide an online facility for the purchase of match tickets and merchandise.

Launch Date Is Set For Cinet Support - The New And Intuitive Online Support & Project Management Software.
